Old Uxonians Data Protection & Privacy Policy

 The Old Uxonians' Association will comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

 The information we hold regarding our Members is limited to Name (including maiden name where appropriate), Address, Dates of attendance at Bishopshalt School and Email address. This information is used to distribute the newsletter twice a year, to inform our Members of important events and to remind people of annual membership subscriptions that are due. 

Members' details are never disclosed to commercial organisations.

We never give out Members' details without their consent. Should we be contacted asking for details for a Member we will contact that Member ourselves and pass on the request.

Our Membership database is held securely in cloud storage which requires a login known only to Committee members who work with it.  Our email distribution lists are saved on a single PC and newsletters are emailed using the Blind Carbon Copy (bcc) function.

We do our best to keep all our Members’ details up to date but request your assistance by letting us know if your name, address or email information changes. We do not accept any responsibility for missing newsletters where the Member has changed their address or email address without letting us know.
